...not in a religious or insane sense, but in terms of the environment.
Word has it, in recent scientific studies, that the next seven years will determine the future of the planet. If we carry on as we are; an overpopulated planet overusing resources, using up water & releasing HUUUUGE carbon emissions, we're doomed for some kind of apocalyptic

But the population of the world is too big & still growing really fast, so even if everyone that wants kids now has them, their kids probably wouldn't even reach adulthood cause the world would be destroyed.
I think everything's fine in moderation. A lot, if not MOST, of kids are accidents. People need more education on contraception.
Having sex isn't killing children :S the same argument could be made that having a period is killing children. It's just a natural thing that gives you the ability to have kids, not a requirement to do so ( ... )

As my point was before, when you have sex, you are essentially killing what could be a human being, for your own pleasure, which could just as easily be seen as selfish. Maybe you should consider giving up sex?
I am not a religious person, nor am i against the idea of protecting our Earth, BUT saying that the way we can save the earth is by stopping having children, (which is one of the most natural and beautiful things on earth) is not necessarily the correct path to take.

Let's not alienate people through extremism: if every couple had only one (or even two) children, the world's population would stay roughly the same. Unfortunatley some nations, and in particular some religions, promote beliefs which lead to large families. This is what needs to be delat with as our first and foremost priority.
An environmentally responsible government would tax larger families rather than providing more benfits for larger families. Education should make people aware that when it comes to families: small is beautiful.
Then there are personl circustances: I wanted three children. I know that this is greedy and I do feel guilty about it, but if I had not had my third child the world would have missed out on one of the most talented individuals around and a person with tremendous potential to put the world to rights.
