so, the past two days have been eye opening, you could say:

- single, again. but i feel as though i did the right thing. i couldn't keep doing this to the other person or myself. i was just going to end up making things worse. 
- rachel leaving the navy, as i mentioned many times before, made me realize i'll miss her more than i thought i would. it
