Thanks for stopping by! For the most part, this journal is friends only. However, I am not opposed to meeting new people, so leave a comment, and I'll gladly consider adding you! :-)
uh, do you know laura? i think you do, so, we're having a b-day dinner for her next tuesday at 7pm (july 18th)- if you are interested, ask laura or me. :)
Hello, Kat! Nice to meet you. :-) Do you go to Crossroads?
Yes, I am friends with Laura. Thanks for letting me know about her b-day dinner! I'd like to try and make it (we'll see), so could you give me more details, please?
Hi Jenny! Heather didn't really say anything about the Eiffel Tower view compared with the NYC view...though I have a feeling she would have like the France one better....she came back adoring France. I like your web page! Very sophisticated and historical. Like it a lot. How've you been? No school still for over a month! Yay! ~Hayley
Hehe, well, the French view was proabably better. ;-) (Except NYC is "home" compared to France. LOL) How was the elevator ride up to the top? The elevator in the Eiffel Tower was scary. :-O Haha.
Thanks! I can't take credit for the journal layout though--my friend Clara did it for me. :-)
I've been pretty good, thanks. Getting ready to go to the Czech Republic in...15? hours! :-O I'm pretty excited. I'll be updating every once in awhile (hopefully!) while I'm over there, if you want to check back here.
Yay for no school!! :-D What're you taking? I think I've asked you this before, but I've forgotten. :-(
At the moment, feel free to read my public entries, but if you don't mind, I'd like to read your journal and such for a little while before I add you. You konw, sort of get to know you a little bit more.
From briefly glancing through your journal, I am so excited to see that you're a big Lafayette fan!! Whoohoo! I sort of studied the French Revolution for a year (I ended up taking several classes with one professor whose favorite topic was the French Rev.) and finished off by spending two weeks in Paris/Brussels following the path of the Revolution beginning with the Bastille and ending with Waterloo. I ended up writing two papers that had a large focus on Lafayette (one was a broad paper on Lafayette and the second was on the Assembly of Notables with an emphasis on Lafayette's role) , so it's cool to run into a person who knows about The Letters from Lafyette to Washington and such. :-)
Where are you studying history? What do you want to do with it?
