Yep, seems to be true. I have seen trailer info over the last several months. Maybe a bit overdone, but I am still looking forward to the new adaptation.
I find it amusing how many devices in this trailer (sound effects between scenes--sounds of deep gong-like chimes, percussive thunder-like claps and transitions--similar music, tone, etc.) are similar to the Narnia trailers. I think the same artist(s) must have been involved in the making of the trailers--or are these devices just common for such trailers?
(Okay, sorry for the aside, but I couldn't help noticing--nor an opportunity to point out the excellent 9-minute Narnia synopsis.)
No, I hadn't heard of this Eyre movie. It looks like this one is aimed at theaters. Were any of the more recent previous ones theater movies? I was thinking the last one (seems like it was only a couple years ago) was a BBC television production.

In particular, I was remembering the darker, adventurous parts in the middle of
the
official European 9-minute Suptertrailer (which, by the way, is really
worth viewing. I find it better than the full movie it represents)--and to a
certain extent in
one
of the original, official Narnia trailers.
