Coming to Terms...

I love having 5 children. They are the joy of my life. I love every single one of them and wouldn't change who they are, but one struggle I've had is that I desperately wish that my little Hailey could have a sister. I grew up in a girl family where I had one brother and six sisters. I am close to my sisters and I talk to a couple of them every day

I just wanted to offer you some *hugs*. I think sisters are awesome and I feel the same way about Jess. I take a lot of comfort in knowing she'd never trade her big brother in for anything.

This is probably no consolation, but I wanted to say that I do have a sister, and we are not at all close.
At best we text each other once or twice a month. She lives less than an hour from me and we see each other once or twice a year.
Having a sister wouldn't gurantee that she would have a closer relationship with her over her brothers.
Then again, I am a little sad that my boys will never know what it's like to have a sister, so I do follow you. ((Hug))
