Tonight I took Hailey to see Hansel and Gretel in Burley. I was so excited to have just Mother and daughter time. I considered taking her to Dairy Queen when the ballet was over. I called Tyler during the intermission to see how things were going (I don't leave Brig all that often so I still check up on him). When I called Tyler stated chewing

It's frustrating when a moment like that ruins the rest of one's evening. You get that feeling in the pit of your stomach that something isn't right, and it's hard to shake (since you know you have to come home to it).

How fun that you and Hailey had some time alone together!
