I agree with you. I think blind adolatry shows limited intellect on the part of the idolator, I think. I was actually talking to a friend about that on Sunday. We were watching CBS This Morning, and they showed a clip of the Beatles with all these girls screaming. I wondered if they were even hearing the music, or just screaming because they were standing on stage? I think they probably could have taken a crap on the stage and people would have thought it was brilliant!

Or the girls so overwhelmed by a star/performer that they become crying, sobbing messes. DUDE, calm down, its a concert not the second coming of Christ. That kind of reaction just freaks me out.

I think the second coming of Christ would elicit quite a different reaction in those girls. ;p Teenagers are so jaded nowadays, they'd probably be like, "Whatever, let's go shopping!"
