How about motion detectors? My office has them in most rooms. Past 7pm, you'll get randomly lighted printer rooms, break rooms and hallways. The lights will go out suddendly but no one is there; it's all timers and sensors. Did I solve the mystery?!
Nope, my office is too old and ghetto to be equipped with that kind of thing. Besides, I think I would have noticed them turning on suddenly in reaction to my motion and that hasn't happened. Thanks for playing though. For your efforts I grant you status as my bumbling partner, Dr. Saynac.
PS - What in the hell are you doing up this late? I thought you would turn into a pumpkin after midnight on week nights.
Walsh, they may be defunked underpants gnomes, but at least give them enough credit to carry a stick around so that they can reach up and hit the switch.
I do not doubt their ability to fashion tools. I am thinking about buying a garden gnome statue, putting it under a box and propping the box up with a rope tied stick in classic cartoon fashion. what do you think?
Hmmm, interesting theory but I'm going to have to go with a no. I've heard that sleep walkers, due to the state of "sleep" they are in can't feel pain during those times. And when I walk out of my office into the dark and usually into a wall, yelping MOTHERF*CKER!! I can assure you I can feel pain at those times.
However, if anyone would like to study me they can go right ahead.
