I'm taking the car back in on Friday. It is leaking coolant from somewhere. This started happening right after I got it fixed the last time. Please say a prayer to the car gods that it's just a hose or clamp or something. I can't afford to get it fixed or to buy another car. That would mean the only car we have is our white trash van. What did you just have done to it? Sounds like somebody isn't tightening things up like they should.

He couldn't find anything obvious. He is thinking that there is a hairline crack in the head gasket. He is going to replace this for us and eat the cost of labor considering he just had our engine apart and should have noticed this. It's going to cost alot but I guess we'll figure it out.

Jenny, we have a repair facility. Charlie said if the car is leaking coolant, the mechanic should be able to find where it's coming from. Coolant leaves a white trail. He said it's not a good idea to just go and blow the money on new heads if you are not sure that is the problem. He suggested a second opinion. If you weren't so far away, he'd have you bring in.
