Ok...so I missed the last few episodes of the last season, then picked it up with the NEW WOMAN *vomits* WHERE IS MY STELLA?!? Where did she go? And why isn't Mac now mourning and sulking?

I don't know... It's terrible that she's gone (but at least she's alive!), and still hope she'll return sooner or later, and if only for one ep... just to see Mac again ;)
My problem is, I like the new woman, because I really like Sela Ward, and it's not her fault Stella's gone... :(

See I have irrational hatred of Sela Ward...dunno why, so its not helping that she is flirting with Mac...and Adam and everyone thinks she's great and I'm like "HELLO!?!? WHERE'S STELLA!?"

That they more or less forgot that there was another 2IC to Mac for (over) six years is absolutely annoying. Does that remind you of something (someone)? It's always the same... I mean, she was the heart of the team!
I first saw Sela Ward on "House" and totally loved her there, so it's kinda hard for me to hate her now. And, if there wasn't Stella, she and Mac would make a great team (and couple, probably). So, yeah, I really miss Stella and want her to return, or at least have (visible) contact with the team (well, Mac *g*) in every episode, but I don't mind Jo. As I said, she's the last one to be blamed. Nevertheless absolutely understand why you don't like her, though.
I won't stop hoping that Stella returns... I didn't with Jen, and she was (presumably, still don't believe it) dead.
