Sure it can -- they've got at least a year together before he becomes Eleven and she regenerates a couple of adventures after!

Perfectly wonderful! I love that The Doctor is now a Ginger, just like he always wanted. And Donna, well Donna is just full of awesome! :) (And I really need to get a Doctor/Donna icon uploaded. :P)
