A rare two posts in one day, but my article posted sooner than I thought. If you'd all be so kind to click, I get paid by traffic. :)

I clicked! As did Bert.

So how does this work exactly? A few months ago Bert asked me to apply to write for this site in Fargo. I'm not sure if I would "get in" since I don't have an English degree or any real background in writing.

You do have to apply to write but I am not sure what their qualifications are. You do have to write a sample article, too. Then they set you up and you write articles that apply to your "channel" (category) and you get paid by how many people look at your articles, how long they look at them and how many people subscribe for you. It doesn't pay great from what I understand, but every little bit helps. And thanks for the clicks!

Thanks for all the page views everyone. Thanks to all of with some Facebook friends, I got 59 page views last night. That so far translates to a whole 54 cents. I think I should get another dollar on top of that since you get a dollar per article that follows their "guidelines."

Oh, and annabelleonyx and anyone else thinking about writing for Examiner, if you use my name as your referral when you apply, I get $50. :)
