If school is getting so difficult for you, why don't you try tutoring? If you don't want to be there...don't because then the next 6 months or whatever are going to be extremely miserable for you. But if you think you can succeed and actually do well, don't rob yourself of that chance. Don't stay for your parents, YOU have to want to do it for you. Or else it's going to be a very long road ahead and what's the point of putting in all the work if you're not doing it for yourself?
Things will get better. People don't stay in their funks forever. You just have to actively try to get out. Start looking at the small positive things in your life and from there, they'll grow. If people aren't good for you, they shouldn't be in your life. That goes for everyone, not just him.
