Summary: As Kathy is recovering from her fall, Billy makes a quick visit.
Notes: This takes place about a day after the hospital scene in 2.0 Part 3.

Billy stepped inside the lobby, he quickly found the front desk with a young woman (probably a few years older than the twins if he had to guess) distracted by something on the computer. He walked to the desk and lightly tapped it to get her attention.
“Excuse me Ms?”
The young woman looked up and her eyes went wide at the sight of the green man before her.
“Ms? Ms?”
The secretary shook her head and looked at him again.
“I’m so sorry sir that was rude of me, I…”
Billy shook his head and gave a small smile.
“It’s alright, I’ve been like this a long time so I’ve gotten used to the stares.”
“Nonetheless sir, I still apologize. Now is there something you need?”
“My name is B… William Daniels, my wife Katherine was admitted here earlier in the week and I want to visit her.”
The young woman went back on her computer and typed something in quickly. She then took a small card attached to a lanyard and gave it to Billy.
“Your wife’s room is on the second floor. She’ll be Room 209. This Guest Pass will let the staff know that you’re allowed to be there but make sure you return it here when you’re ready to leave.”
“Thank ya Ms.”
As Billy made his way to the elevators and through the second floor’s hallways, all he could think about was how his Kathy was doing. Dr. Harry said she was lucky and that she would recover but Billy still worried.
When he finally found Room 209, Billy knocked on the door softly.
“Come in.”
Billy opened the door and stepped inside. Kathy was lying on the bed with a book on her lap. She smiled when she saw her husband at the door.
“Hello darling.”
“Hello Kathy.”
Billy grabbed a folding chair from the corner of the room, placed it next to Kathy’s bed, and sat down.
“So how are ya feeling?”
“I’m alright. The food isn’t really good here and it’s too quiet. But the people are friendly; one of the nurses actually gave me this book to read to pass the time. How have you been? You look a little wilted.”
“I do? I guess I haven’t been taking good care of myself.”
Kathy grabbed her husband’s hand and brushed her thumb against it.
“Billy I know you’ve been worried but you shouldn’t let yourself suffer. Dr. Harry said that it could have been much worse and that I was very lucky.”
“…I still miss you at home.”
“I miss you too dear... but we’re both going to have to be patient.” Kathy said as she squeezed Billy’s hand.
Billy sighed, “You’re right. But I still want you back home soon. When you do, I’m gonna make a big ol’ pot of spaghetti with tomato sauce and meatballs just for you.”
“That does sound really good right now. I don’t think you’d need to get me a plate, I’ll eat it straight from the pot.”
For the first time since Kathy came to the hospital, the two shared a laugh. The two continued to talk, happy to have each other’s company after being alone for the past few days. Eventually though, Billy decided that it was time for him to return to the farm. He smiled at Kathy and gave her a small kiss on the cheek.
“I’ll come back tomorrow morning and I’ll bring you some flowers… maybe even an apple or two from the tree.”
“I’d like that, thank you… I love you Billy.”
“I love you too Kathy.”
