All my possessions are being sorted into two piles:  "Keep" and "Giveaway".  There is a transient pile that appears and disappears for each new room, which we shall call "Think about".  As soon as the "Think about" pile is completed, it gets split into the other two piles

Yeah, it is kinda hard and complicated, isn't it?? I always have trouble with books, particularly, and after that, things that people I love have given me.

Have you thought about maybe renting a small storage space, one of those that's barely a closet for around 50 bucks a month or something? It might help with the Keep and Don't Know piles. Then after time it might be easier. :)

Have I thought about renting a space? Yeah, that was my plan before I had a GF. Now, I am planning on taking advantage of her willingness to store some stuff, and I will just cut down a bit more, and save myself $50 a month ($600 a year). If I were just planning on sailing for a year, or whatever, I might think about storing a bit more, but I am planning on doing this until I physically can't, so I am better off without it all.

Don't worry, I will save the really meaningful stuff. Thanks for the comment.
