i think the cell service will likely go out. and I have no idea what kind of reception i'll get in the bathroom anyway. but I'll try to keep you as posted as I can.

Do you have to evacuate/are you going to? Or is it going to not hit you as hard? Either way I hope you and all your friends there are safe!!

We aren't required to evacuate. About half the kids here left and half are staying. I'm staying because the traffic is too bad to get anywhere better, basically. But my building seems pretty strong, the university has backup power, food and water, and I think we'll make it through ok.

Louie is still alive. I think he misses his mom. He looks a little dejected.
