Facebook - sometimes not so good

I have this "friend" on Facebook from my gospel choir. She's kind of scary, posts about a million times a day about how much she loves Jesus, and I kind of want to strangle her, because enough already. Too much and it becomes depressing and that's NEVER GOOD!!

It's kind of off putting really both when faith turns self-indulgent and when used as a weapon. It makes me sad. I also can't believe that God would find it a better strategy to discriminate than to be open to all his creatures. :-)

You keep believing in what you want too and i also think you should take the chance on true love when you find it, we went to a civil ceremony years ago and both lads are still together and so much in love. Glad she isnt on my friends list.lol....hugs.....

Oh, yeah, they won't make me change my mind. I believe that everyone is of equal worth and deserve happiness - and it makes me happy to see other people happy. Although I have to admit, if I was a homosexual, I'm not sure that I would have wanted to be married in church where there are apparently so many people believing it is wrong. *hugs back*

Dude, that's scary. Why must religion so often end up in fanaticism?
