As we grow closer to the deadline for posting fic/artwork (and yes, we are just as excited as the participants about this!), you're going to get a number of posts explaining a variety of things. This post explains posting guidelines.
There are three elements to post in every Big Bang exchange; the fic, the accompanying art, and the announcement in the Big Bang community. This post will explain the above in more detail.
All authors and artists should post using the following format on their assigned date:

Fic: Title
All authors should post their fic using the following headers:

Art - Art can be posted anywhere that is logical for the artist's chosen media. If you are posting on a big site such as Youtube, please don't post more than four days before the assigned date and don't announce it anywhere until the story is posted. Artists will need to provide their author with a link to their work (e.g. to an LJ post where the art is displayed, or to the Youtube vid, media storage website i.e. megaupload or to the Photobucket folder etc.) two days before their assigned posting date.
- Stories can be posted anywhere: LJ or Dreamwidth, personal sites, AO3, - wherever you like as long as it's a publicly available web page (that is, anyone can see it - you don't need to create a login or anything in order to view the story). Ideally, you shouldn't post your story anywhere until your assigned posting date. If you're posting on LJ or DW, you could create your post(s) in advance - just make them private. Then on your posting day you only need to unlock the posts. If you're posting to an archive site, you may post your story up to two days in advance of your posting date - that's to allow for any problems you might have with posting but do not cross post to mailing lists or announce your posting anywhere until your assigned date.
- Make sure that your story is broken up in parts or chapters and that each is linked to. If you can, make sure each part/chapter links to the next in the story.
- Artist, make sure in your post you link to the authors fic. We want people to look at the art and read the fic.
The next post will be the posting schedule, the one after that listing who will post when, and then it will be time for the authors/artists to begin posting!
If you aren’t sure how to do any of the above (coding, etc), please contact us either via email (jentbigbang@gmail.com), or PM either of the mods.
Good luck!
