Not always true love. When I have spare time, I read all my friend's journals, and I read them with care because people [those like and unlike me] write things like that not only to have someone listen [read] about their days and problems but also to vent or just put it down as a memory. I personally don't care who reads my lj or comments, for me it's an escape or a vent or just a reminder that something wonderful [or horrible] happened on that day, but I leave it public for anyone who does care to glance and read, and if I don't want it that way, I make it private... or just friends even. I read your lj, and I know your brother, and I wouldn't mind knowing how the game went [did they cream the other team?!?!?!] I love you Jen, you are a truly beautiful and amazing person inside, outside and all the way around... if that made any sense :) <3

of course no one cares what you did or what anyone did during their life/day.
And most people I'm sure just scroll over most of their friend's entries.
But, 53953975295525 people still do it everyday or whenever. It's just a fact of life.
That is why people get so excited when someone ACTUALLY comments.
