This makes me absolutely sick. What's even more infuriating is the fact that I bet all he'll get is a slap on the wrist, because animal abuse is deemed so much less of a crime than human abuse.

God I hope that video isn't real.

here's an article on snopes. It's undetermined. I certainly hope that they investigate this and find out that it's not real. It hurts me to think about it! :(

If it's real, that man needs to be relieved of his duties and given professional care. The last person who should be out there with a gun is one who has no conscience.

wonkette posted a link yesterday to an article about this with 5 videos - not just the one of the marines throwing the puppy over the cliff but four more examples of their callousness. 3 of them have to do with cruelty to animals and they are horrific (the 4th shows a convoy of tanks going through an intersection, running into a car, then just backing up and going around the wreckage without stopping ( ... )

Apparently people found this guys facebook and are sending his family threats.. and I don't blame them.. as if American soldiers needed to give us another reason to hate them.... (I won't say "americans" ... b/c I know better but most people don't)... I hope someone finds that guy down a dark alley..
