I am 4 1/2 months preggo and you can't tell! A lady at the dentist yesterday said she would never be able to tell I was pregnant. That makes me sad the preggo belly is one of the best parts. My books said I should gain 12 pounds in this trimester and its half over and I gained 1 or 2 pounds ( Read more... )

The day before my elective caesarian, someone said 'You're pregnant! When are you due?' Maybe a testament to her limited powers of observation or the layers of clothes needed in February, but some people really don't show much and it (mysteriously) varies from pregnancy to pregnancy - that was Son 2 who was a little heavier at birth than Son 1 - who by contrast made me look huge.

Haha well by that late in the pregnancy it might be a welcome compliment to hear that. Hopefully in a couple weeks I will be complaining about how fat I am.

People didn't start asking me how far along I was until I was 6 months pregnant. Probably because that was when I stopped puking and could finally put some weight on. lol. For taller women you typically don't start showing as soon as a petite short person, where they start showing after 2-3 months. If you see my myspace pic at 20 weeks...It definetly didn't look like there was a baby in there. lol. You're fine! :) Your baby is only supposed to weigh a pound at 20 weeks and they are tiny, so you can still be tiny too! :)

:) No problem! Trust me for all you know you will end up having a 9lber in there by the end of it all! lol. Everyone thought I was going to have a tiny baby.. jokes on them! haha! :) I got big really fast at the end. Make sure to drink lots of water and put that cocoa butter on towards the end especially! <3

Well I was a 10 lb 12 oz baby and Jan was 11 lbs 10 oz...so I am pretty sure I am screwed haha. Thanks for the advice! I am really good about the water, I drink 10 glasses everyday, I got the cocoa butter ready :)
