tonight i am stoked because i am taking 5 teenagers to see My Chemical Romance. yay! i am eternally grateful that my kids and their friends are the kind that i can take to a kinda scary part of SF for a show like this and not worry (too much) about.
(you might like MCR actually, if you haven't heard em. try The Black Parade, their latest)
i will actually write another post about this ritual...
don't know if i mentioned before, until last autumn, i had hair down to my ass. i found the change to my appearance to trigger some stuff for me, good and bad. et tu?
I'd figured you'd had the longer hair, but didn't know the timing nor the reason for the shortening. I don't know if I was going for any specific changes here (other than getting rid of some chin-dandruf.). Mostly it was just time to mix it up a bit. It's not even like when I got rid of my own long hair - for that it really *was* time for a more lasting change, and did directly relate to my professional life, my art, and to an acceptance of self.

Miss you now, after getting to see you in SF, I've wanted to talk!
