A gin rickEy (don't forget the E or John gets persnickity)is gin, ice, lime juice, and tonic/carbonated water. According to John, it is also called a lime rickEy, which I think is an even better old people drink name.

I have no idea where he got the shorts - perhaps they were a gift from one of his fellow shuffleboard-playing old people friends. or perhaps an old person girlfriend who gave them to him while eating cheesecake on her lanai.

john suffered an overwhelming loss to his mother, an adorable woman who i would never describe in writing as "old". according to john, she completely schooled him in shuffleboard.

All I want is the drink given it's correctly spelled due. I got the shorts from Target all on my own. They will be a staple in my summer wardrobe. I might even keep the socks too.
