I forget which show I was watching when the commercial played, but it was a Cover Girl commercial featuring Ellen DeGeneres and the following was the first line spoken.

"Inner beauty is important… but not as important as outer beauty.”

Well, considering that Cover Girl is the main sponsor of that celebration of all that is superficial known as America's Next Top Model, I'm not terribly surprised. Still, I'd expect more from Ellen...unless she was trying to be ironic (which didn't work at all).

I'm surprised to see Ellen did that as well!

I think inner beauty becomes outer beauty, but not the other way around. Though, if I'm having a bad day, it helps to feel beautiful on the outside, though, in no way is it more important than inner beauty!
