Seattlites: WSDOT has released a bunch of information about their eight proposals for replacing the Alaskan Way Viaduct. They've got a bunch of concept photos and a detailed traffic impact analysis report.

Which option is your favorite? (I still need to digest all this info.)

Here are the eight proposed scenarios:

Surface:
A) Surface Boulevard w/ "Demand Management" (cheaper)
B) Surface Boulevard w/ Transit (Fremont streetcar!)
C) Alaskan Way/Western Couplet (two one-way, 3-lane streets)

Elevated:
D) Elevated
E) Integrated Elevated (park above and shops below)

Tunnel:
F) Bored Tunnel (includes Alaskan/Western couplet)
G) Cut-and-Cover Tunnel
H) Lidded Trench
