I'm not a gamer, not really. I like playing games, but the games I like are like Portal and World of Goo. But I've seen that Wii has some great party/group games that are fun to play. And it has all the classic Nintendo games, and maybe, just maybe I'd finally get good at Mario Kart. Mostly, I've heard fantastic things about the Wii fit from EA

360 is getting better for casual games, particularly though downloadable content. However, to get a 360 with a hard drive we're talking $300+, plus, unlike the Wii, you have to pay to get online with XBox live, to download things.

Like Puzzle Fighter, Katamari, that spaceship racing game (zone? you advance through zones), of course Rock Band, Little Big Planet, etc.
I seriously need a new job to make more money. Or maybe to move in with a roommate to have less expenses.
But maybe if I get *one* console, I can improve my skills so that at gaming parties I won't feel so bad about playing with you more experienced people... :-P And then still get to play the games I won't be able to own...
