I Wander in the Night Without Direction

I couldn't fall asleep last night. I tried meditating, but found it too difficult without a guide. I couldn't surface beneath my thoughts, mostly because I had to create the 'trip' alone and was too self-conscious of where I was going, whether I was doing it right, when the relaxation would start, why the birds wouldn't stop chirping, etc. I tried ( Read more... )

I love that song. I would listen to it (and others like it) while taking my late-night walks around campus, but what I remember most is walking home with that playing and a thunderstorm picked up, then it started hailing. I stopped walking and just let everything fall into me. It was amazing.
