Its weird that a lot of people don't choose happiness. Oh yeah, because its a fad to be whiny.

although I've discovered it's a choice, I still have trouble staying conscious of that...because it's hard man, you can't just dismiss it so easily. for me, at least, I'd been in a rut after realizing how indifferent the world really is and how we're all islands of experience. but when I can transcend that and realize we all share this struggle of existence, I can shed that isolation and actively choose to enjoy it. It's a tough process.
