I just put up a couple new posters--some Chinese artwork, since I'm really into the Daoism and its poetry, with its simplistic beauty describing Nature. The other one has the text of Max Ehrmann's 1927 Desiderata, which has been really inspiring for me lately. Especially during these times. Here's the text:

Daoism is great. I've read the Dao De Ching and it was really cool. The problem is that the lifestyle it proposes doesn't work with society today, unless you become a forest hermit.

I think you can understand the Way and "penetrate" it while still functioning in society. I mean, I realize that what I'm typing write now (language) is a human construction, but even Zhuangzi (the other major Daoist besides Laozi) warns that ignoring the rules of society will "trip" you. It's sort of hard to explain, but basically, play along with the system and play outside of the system. But most importantly, play.
