Eh. I kinda want to write some now... There are a total of THREE stories on fanfiction.net with the featured characters (the two you can select to narrow results) as Asch and Ginji.

I want to write an "Aftermath of Eldrant" fic, where the party comes back to the Albiore II, and they're like "we have to get out of here!!!" and Noelle's like "Wait! Where's Luke!? We can't leave him behind!" and nobody answers... and then Ginji gets really REALLY upset and panicked and is all "...where's Asch? Isn't he with you!? Where is he? What happened!? We can't leave without him!!"

...yeah. I like tearjerkers that revolve around canon moments but never get addressed in the actual game/anime/manga etc. Like... in Fullmetal Alchemist, when Hughes died. What it must have been like to be the person who FOUND him. Or my fic, Solace. That kind of thing.

And now that the cover's done, I can finally get started! First an insert front page with another picture, then the actual story! I won't waste you guys' time with a bunch of pages of text, either. That's what we call fanfiction. Since this isn't for publishing, I'll post the pages here so you guys can download.

um. Do you know how to get pictures in entries to be bigger than the ones here so you don't have to click on them to see what's going on? *frustrated*

It's annoying to have to click on every page and load it (and they're big, too: 7"x10" 300dpi) just so you can read it. For everyone's sake, I want to know how to make them bigger...

I'm really looking forward to seeing this doujinshi progress! The relationship between Guy and Asch is one of my favorite in the game, and I love the route you've taken with the plot!
