Do you realize how monumentally retarded is to post this reply like this one, as anonymous. It's shit like this that I'm looking to avoid. Not the criticism, just the total lack of accountability that can accompany anonymity in some cases.

Um..."Anonymous" is my live journal status. The signature accompanying my post is a big step away from anonymity, isn't it?
And my post is not criticism, but an expression of awe. How does one go through life begging for ridicule and abuse, and yet maintain such a high opinion of himself? Impressive!

Also, there is an option in the "manage: info" menu that will allow you to set your entire journal as "friends only". At that point, only the people you have listed on your friends list (i.e. folks you have hand selected as friends) will be able to see your entries.
You will be able to post with impunity in a secure fashion.
There is also an option in the "manage: info" menu that allows you to block anonymous comments from being posted in your journal.

ditto what liquordrums said. hey, let me know when you and star both resume the LJ thing so's we can keep in touch better. I really had fun meeting you and spending time with both you and star. I will certainly add you after you make your choice, whether that is to keep this one or start anew...hopefully you can talk star into doing the same. take care! and give star a huge bear hug for me. incidentally, though you know it by now, this is sharon.
