THIS IS PERFECT I AM IN LOVE

The opening of Will saving the deer (HE WOULD).

they've spent the last three days cooped up inside Dr. Lecter's shop, learning about berries and wrapping bandages and tracking. The closest they'd come to holding a knife was when Dr. Lecter was preparing their meals and he'd asked, ever so graciously, if they'd like to help.

Okay so everything with Lecter is great. I mean of course he's a victor (MISCHA). Him running a fancy butcher's shop (sob). But also his way of training, because he is a man of details. And of course he would see the ability to kill as something already within someone, waiting to come out. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW HE SEES IT IN CANON jfc.

Freddie Lounds' smile matches the fire of her hair, and she seems to blow a kiss goodbye before dropping to her knees. She makes sure to mark every part of Abigail with her blood as she goes down, and even manages to dig her nails deeper into the gash in her stomach, even as Abigail's frantically kicking away, even as the light leaves her eyes. The opening of Will saving the deer (HE WOULD).THANK YOU SO MUCH I AM ECSTATIC THAT YOU LIKE IT. You commented mostly on characterizations and stuff and this makes me very happy because Hannibal took aaages to write (mostly because I got neurotic halfway and started having conversations with him in my head and he's all about subtlety and 'I'm laughing but you can't join in because it's my own secret' and after a while he started sounding like a character from The Bold and the Beautiful or smth) and I was just generally worried that I'd messed him up ( ... )

Haha, well, the way he talks in canon is often pretty melodramatic/overly poetic.

The ending's open to interpretation but if we want to go by your prompt, she does kill him, but what drove her to kill him was the fact that she couldn't the first time. And Abigail always wants to be in control of things, and I wanted to show that that mas the major factor that drove her through the games/becoming obsessed with him?

This all makes sense! And I think what you were trying to get across definitely came through.
