how was your trip home?

Very long. Left P'cola 6:30 am Sunday morning. That night that I saw you and we watched the movie, I stayed up all that night so I could sleep on the plane. I had to be at the airport at 4:30 so I could do the bag check-in thing. Landed in Atlanta at about 8:00 (9:00 their time), and had to catch the connecting flight to Tokyo at 10:00. No time to eat (luckily, I packed sandwiches). Got on the plane and waited. They were showing Forrest Gump on the plane and little else, so I watched that once (which ate up about 3 hours of the ride) and then got some sleep. The entire trip lasted 14 hours almost exactly. I did sleep through most of it, which was great. I would have stayed awake to talk if there was a cute Japanese girl beside me, but, alas, an empty seat and then some old guy. So, sleepy time, in contacts, for almost the entire way. Got here at about 4:30 pm (yes, the sun was up the entire trip) and caught a bus back to my area (as opposed to the train). Got home and unpacked a little. It was quiet and stuffy from being shup-up for ( ... )
