I need to learn to let go of some pieces...I notice that if I start off a song on the right track during the first couple hours of its creation, it tends to progress in a fairly linear upward fashion towards a happy completion...but if after the first couple hours of work it does not seem to be going someplace I like, even after 2 weeks of working
