All prompts were crazy this round, and yes, it was a requirement to write the entries in letter or e-mail form. I'm glad you liked it ^_^ -- and I had a lot of fun researching and formatting the image. I still can write two other entries, but there's only one or two days before this round closes *eyes the other prompts speculatively*.
Whimper: Crossword puzzles have been banned and the government controls the sun.
Draft: Editing has been banned and the government controls sadness.
Fall: Waking bears has been banned and the government controls eating with a fork.
Vibrate: Volcanoes have been banned and the government controls lace.
Nick: Webinars have been banned and the government controls bathroom tile.
I was thinking along the lines of docs editing too, but another participant choose to show it as self-editing too, which with my bouts of miss-typing and kinda obsessive mistake fixing on everything I write (even comments) is shudder worthy.
I think "Nick" has to be the hardest one to do seriously. Walking bears can be explained in an anthropomorphic animals society, forks can be said to be controlled because they can be used like weapons, and the government controlling sadness reminds me of Do robots dream of electric sheep?. Agree on "Whimper" bringing many ideas, there are many reasonable explanations behind both the ban and the control.
On the other hand, webinars can be banned in a society that restricts free communication ... but bathroom tiles? :/

When I read the prompt it was like "What....?" You did it well with that harebrained prompt.

"Whimper" is promissing, though...
