i would suggest doing some more volunteer work in some of those areas.. that would get your foot in the door and on your way perhaps to your desired career. maybe take some classes.

when i was little, my mom worked at mt. washington pediatric hospital. i know for a fact that they have volunteer opportunities in all different of areas. it might be worth checking out.
