Maybe if we put all our working parts together we can build one good computer. And then mail it back and forth so we can both use it.

Actually I think I'm just going to say to hell with it and start buying parts for a brand new one. If I only buy a few at a time and spread it out over a few months it shouldn't be too hard to afford.

Meh, your call. I've the majority of my old 1200 athlon sitting in static bags. My desktop is going to my brother-in-law, and I'm concentrating on my laptop until I can build a gaming beast. It wouldn't be as good as you have now, but it would be something that could keep you online.
