So, in the light of everything that's been going on with LJ - should i archive my posts? And, uhm...how do i do that? O_O

You download this program and run it and you save all your LJ entries and comments to your hard drive. :)

On the other hand, if you want to transfer your entries to, say, InsaneJournal, then you create a journal there, download this program and following this tutorial transfer all your entries to InsaneJournal. :Dd

I don't see why. I so could care less if I lose my entries. To me, all they're good for is looking up dates because I have absolutely no sense of time and always forget when something happened.
