Abuse of Trust By Skype Made Me Uninstall

When I booted my box this morning Skype abused my trust so thoroughly that I had to remove it from my machine.

I no longer use Skype.

Without any notice or permission Skype, in collusion with its new parent company ebay, installed system tray software and modified my install of FireFox.

I am considering installing ooVoo as a replacement.

yeah I installed it on my mac and it put itself in my startup. What a pain in the ass. I'm removing it too!

I use it all the time, but I also don't like the sound of that. I've used ooVoo a bit and it seems solid, just has a tiny user base compared to Skype. (and its not on my iPhone like Skype is)

Haven't had this happen on any of my three machines (2 PC / 1 Mac)
