I've just finished re-reading the entirety (28 issues to date) of "Buffy Season Eight". As it's gotten longer and longer, it's now come to resemble an actual season of the show. And I think it's really much better when read in big chunks. Joss has done a good job of running his themes and subplots through issues written by about a dozen different

A Xander/Buffy/Dawn triangle in which Xander is currently with Dawn could end up with him eventually with Buffy, I suppose. The fact that Buffy wants him at the moment removes the biggest obstacle.

Well, that's my process of elimination conclusion. Twilight is white, and male, and has a previous connection to Buffy. And there has been time travel, and he's not Riley, or Oz. I guess it could be Giles, but having read all the issues, it strongly suggests Xander.

There was one scene where he started to remove his mask while talking to Riley (who is on his team, but possibly working for Buffy), and all that was shown was his chin. That's it so far.
