I kind of suspect Jack Bauer and company have run their course at this point, but even when I abandon a season, I ususally give it another chance when the new one starts. Still, I dislike the show demanding four hours of my time in one week - that's a lot. So far, this season looks okay, even though I don't find Kara Thrace and Freddie Prinze Jr to ( Read more... )

Possibly. Chloe's husband doesn't seen to be overly in the picture at the moment. Although I'd still bet against it ever happening.

I find it nigh impossible to believe that Starbuck would be romantically involved with Mr. Sarah Michelle Gellar. Just doesn't compute. Other than that, the story just didn't excite me very much.

I like Katee Sackoff, but I think my days of not taking Freddie seriously have not yet come to a middle.

I always start out relatively into 24, although some seasons work for me in the long run, and some don't. I think the repetition of it does tend to weaken the show's appeal over time, though. There's only so many ways to say "Just tell me where the bomb is!"

And I do wish they wouldn't show four hours of the season at once. It makes watching TV feel like work.
