I belong to a local moms group. One of the moms moved to mexico, but just came back for visit recently - I missed the meetup thursday night...now I'm glad I did. (She wasn't sick or may not even be in the part of mexico where this is happening).
the problem is we've all seen the day after tomorrow, 28 days later, 12 monkeys and outbreak and the real question is how close to reality were those movies? there hasn't been a pandemic on the scale of the 1918 flu since then and things are so globalized it means the,liklihood of it spreading is far greater and the liklihood of a mass economic blowout from the efforts to contain it are far greater too.
I'm worried more about the fallout from the prevention then the flu itself.
