Dood. If wishes were...well I don't know what. but I want to be on that. oh so badly.
My uncle (of the Venezuelan branch of the famiglia) once stood on his roof, drunk and with a pistol, swearing to kill Max Arvileiz. Since I fondly wish that that entire branch of my family burn in a fiery hell for all eternity, I'd like shake the man's hand, regardless of politics. Admittedly I'm not as well informed about the Venezuelan situation as I should be but yeah, I so need to be on that team.

I'm replying to my own comment. heh. But yes, you need to come over early enough on x-mas to see the drunken insanity. And yes, I hung my festive balls:)
ugh, don't let some random uneducated dumbass make you feel that you can't display your political beliefs. not only is it your prerogative to believe whatever you want, but... i think you're pitching for the right team.
So that's why you're so freakin' liberal!!! Ha. Ha. But, um, yeah, I've actually heard not a single person speak of the end of our troubles in Iraq and so on and so on. No sane person, no matter their political stance, would think that capturing Saddam means we're done.
However, there is always something to be said for accomplishing your goal. We've wanted from the beginning to get Saddam, and we have, so yes, of course we're "doing something right." We can't just leave it there and forget about Iraq now, but neither can we say that capturing Saddam was no big deal. For 'twas.
*muah* to you too i suppose:)jersey_burningDecember 15 2003, 00:08:45 UTC
Y'know, one day I'd like to sit down and talk about our respective stances on world issues. It might have to end at that though, since inviting any sort of political debate might be an explosive thing. You know how both of us get when we're convinced we're in the right:P
I watched the second half of Angels tonight and I kept thinking "I wish Mikey were here" just so I could get your reaction to several things in the film. After viewing the first half of it you may have thought it was some cracked out trash but I hope you catch one of the myriad of re-runs of it if you didn't watch tonight.
This is where I stop my silly lurking and finally add you to my friends page:P Unfortunately yesterday's events only reinforce my mother's inevitable second vote for Bush as well as reinforcing her idea that any view I might have of world events is utterly worthless. Ah well.
