Myself and a friend closed on an apartment this evening in the City. East Village. 2nd Ave and 10th Street. I have a bedroom larger than my current apartment. There is a small livingroom. everyone I know in NYC sends their laundry out, why bother with DIY, when someone else will wash, fold, press, and return your clothes for slightly more than the price of a laundromat? i do it occasionally now, when I don't have time or desire to wrestle my laundry down the treacherous communal laundry room steps. totally worth it.

I'm very glad to read that. Considering doing it myself will also mean having to schedule it as a weekly event, I like it even better. Gotta love money. It solves almost everything.
