Oh yeah his left ear is split open, but stitched and his nose is swollen red (broken, and put back into place.) If Kanji were to tip the view down to his chest Takami would see that he was indeed, shirtless, and bandaged up to high heaven. But Kanji didn't, it's just his face.]

He said he was gonna 'bite me to death' and I don't want his mouth anywhere near me or to die anytime soon.

I just didn't know he had tonfa's with spikes on them. [It's pretty darn obvious Kanji feels no regret about this particular fight, nothing compared to the one with Toshi.]

I got it pretty much handled. Stitched up my ear 'nd bandaged my chest. He broke some more ribs, though. [Kanji has broken enough ribs to know what it feels like by now.]
