Lord...

I watched the first half of National Lampoon's European Vacation last night, and I can't get over how unfunny it was.

On the flip side, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was great! Seriously, though, it would have been even better with an extra twenty minutes to elaborate on a few more things. One can imagine what happens to an 870- ( Read more... )

Totally agreed. I think there's some little things Yates didn't plant that will be important in the next two movies. Still, it was the hotness as a movie. :D

I totally need to see it again.

Yeah... what's with not putting in the mirror Sirius gives to Harry? I think that might be important in the 7th book.

Agreed!

Do u really think seeing it once more will "hold you over?" Haha. In order to try and do the same thing I am rereading the books, and have found other books as well to attempt to fill the gap. Haha.

Hehe, yeah, it probably wouldn't hold me over.

Nothing will fill the gap, I say! Nothing! Oh, man, I can't wait!

C'mon, Joisey Goil, only a week to go. Yay! I can't wait. (And if James works that night, I'm dragging him through the line with me. Man, that line is going to be ferocious.)

I haven't watched any of the movies since Chamber of Secrets. Maybe it's unfaor of me due to the amount of compression going on, but they just didn't do it for me.

I hope they did Luna right by the casting. Physically, they did a great job. She looks just like I thought she would. Goddamn, I love me some Luna. She should totally become a professor at Hogwarts. Like... Divination. Her predictions would rule.

What sucks is that I have to work that night until closing (1AM). No book for me until afterwards. Gah! The line is gonna be insane. I think you should totally go for the buddy system.

Hmm... if you've got some time, the movie's worth checking out. There is a ton of compression, though. It moves by really, really quickly. And Luna totally works in the role, BTW.

Luna would make an awesome professor, but so would Neville. I think he's the kid from Harry's year Rowling said would become a professor in the future. Herbology, anyone?

Yikes. Sucks for you, but... you'll get it eventually, at least. Probably that same day. I told James I'm taking him with me. He didn't seem that thrilled, but I'm sure he'll do it anyway because I told him to.

I may check the other three movies out eventually. Maybe.

Neville's most definitely the one I'm predicting, since it's "not Ron, and not who you think." If not him, Parvati or Lavender in Divination, just as bad as Trelawney except maybe without the brief seizures where they make actual predictions.

yeah some old movies hardly hold up anymore.....early 80's cartoon shows also
except for he-man, because even if it sucks, you can always laugh and poke fun of the homoerotic undertones

and transformers, lol

and for a person who never read any harry potter books, but loves the movies...EVEN i felt that there was something missing, certain scenes and bits of information that could've helped my movie viewing experience a little better
but still i dug it....especially the last 45 minutes IN IMAX 3d, seriously, it was awesome
