And now, the super trip to Boston recap

Aug 26, 2007 17:29

Dude, I might be the only within-the-vicinity-of-New York-er to say this, but Boston is an awesome city. Everyone's so polite and helpful, even if you admit to being from Jersey. I guess you just can't admit to being a Yankees or Mets fan, though.

The Berklee program was great. I think I learned more in a week than I learned in 3 years on guitar. ( Read more... )

I'll wear them next week. Unfortunately, they're a bit too big. I didn't realize I grabbed the wrong size.

Told you the T wasn't so bad! And yeah, Harvard Square really isn't. ^_^

And happy birthday~!

Thanks! Yeah, I guess I got confused with the map, but the T really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The buses were really reliable, too. The only thing that sucked was that the train stopped running past a certain time, and that I, being one of the few students over 18 in the Berklee program, didn't have a curfew. Oh, well.

Have you heard of Warren Ellis? He's a comic book author (Transmetropolitan, Fell), that I pretty much love to pieces. For some reason he's doing a music thingie on his website where he asks unsigned people to donate a little music, and he mixes it and posts it up. So far it's been trancy and techno and I'm not sure that's what you play, but you could check it out. He's got a pretty big damn following, so it'd be a lot of exposure. ^_^;; The 4am.

Replying to this eight years later, but that's a great idea! :)
