Well, OK, anach has a car. His prior car was making imminent-death threats (as opposed to imminent death-threats), so we went shopping. We secured our financing in advance, found the car on teh Interwebs (http://www.cars.com), and went forth and bought. Happy

Friends of mine have a Focus wagon (theirs is older, maybe '02) and they're very happy with it. You can pack a lot of stuff in there, too; we got my band's entire instrument pile in there regularly for going to conventions (along with band, of course -- three of us at the time).

Yeah, I have a history with the next size up (Taurus/Sable), and have been very happy with the cargo capacity. Glad to hear that the Focus lives up to the example of its larger sibling.

Barry and Sally both have Focii... she's got the hatchback (in screaming yellow) and he has the wagon. Great little cars. We've gotten a truly astonishing number of drums in Sally's... I think there's a small tesseract in the trunk. It's the only thing that explains the hauling capacity.

I've been driving the next size up wagon (Taurus/Sable) for years, and have been impressed with the cargo space. Glad to hear that the Focus also hauls more stuff than you'd expect for the size.

i looked at the ford focus when i ended up getting the screaming yellow mazda

since i was at a dealership with no dealers to deal with i wandered over to mazda and got the yellow car.
