Peace will exist with flaws. That is, if it doesn't already.

What's the point of having peace with flaws? That isn't very peaceful to me.

Because the world will obviously never have peace fully. So why not have it to the fullest extent that we can!

"Everybody's looking for a blue sky
Searching for an answer on a satellite
I know that there's got to be a blue sky out there to see
A blue sky waiting for me"

wanting peace has become some sort of fad. people walk around with peace signs on their bags and wear peace signs and stuff, but i dont believe peace is what they really want, yet do they know the true definition of it and if we can really get there.

i dont believe peace can ever truly exist, like you said. but i agree with jessie when she said it can esist with flaws. but, unfortunately, a full all around peace can't ever exist. someone, somewhere, is distubing someones peace at all times. but i guess what we can do is work towards the goal of peace, and improving, but knowing that we cant get there fully.

Insightful. Thanks for your comment, Deirdre!

Peace signs, for me, represent peace of MIND. There is no such thing as world peace.

When I was little, I always thought that people who carried and showed peace signs weren't only believing in it, but they were doing the most that they can to contribute to anything peaceful. Whether it's the world or their own, at least they were making a contribution.

Nowadays I realize that it's mostly a fad. That most people don't care about peace. They just care about having that "image" of someone who cares.

I carry the peace sign because I believe that people, along with myself could do more. So we should all do the best we can.

No, I think people do care about peace. That is the point of my entry.

According to the American Heritage Dictionary, peace is "freedom from quarrels and disagreement; harmonious relations."

It's human nature to live in disarray. That is why peace is a contradiction. It's against the very thing that binds us as human beings.

People want things they cannot have. Peace is one of those things.

"They just care about having that "image" of someone who cares."
I like that quote. :-D
