Do you know what I despise? No? well I'll tell you, it's people who scuff their feet. And girls who buy those darned Ugg boots. And unsurprisingly the two personalities seem to correlate quite nicely.
YES. I detest a lot of Ugg boots more than scuffing, some Ugg boots being more obnoxious than others, but the thing I hate even MORE than both of those is girls who make their parents buy them Ugg boots and then insist upon making their MSN nicknames about Ugg boots for weeks to come, partly to be obsessive, and partly to brag about how rich their families are (I guarantee this girl did not buy these boots herself). ARGH.
I've considered this and I don't think it is a factor. Ugg boots are lighter than your average winterboot. I think that the only other possibility is that the shame of wearing such overpriced abominations is weighing their feet down.
What's worse is that they aren't even really considered a winterboot. I can vouch that in the recent *blizzards* here in Halifax the Ugg wearing girls had a great deal more difficulty a) keeping snow out of their boots and b) keeping their feet warm.
I also enjoy the name of the boots. Ugg. It's as though they simply forgot to add the "ly"
